Still Down South II

Now I'm back down south in Wanaka again, as another week comes to an end. A stable southerly offers good walking opportunities for the next few days, and there are dogs to walk. Thank you to all those people who have given me support recently. Hopefully a visa will arrive soon. If not ... AF will not be silent.

  1. You are always welcome in the US. If nothing happens soon, I am thinking of organizing a rescue visit.

  2. Oh, Louise, that would be great! Of course, I would be upset about not being able to visit Oxford, but I'm not actually too fussed about what country I live in, and I would be very happy to visit the US again.

  3. I'm getting indications that I am going to be rich soon. Maybe things are going to work out.

Meanwhile, I've sent in my dues for APS and will give a talk. The talk will be devoted to the extension of Regge trajectories, in the flux tube approximation, to including color. I think this is the most attractive way to package the hadron mass stuff.

  4. Great to hear that carl is talking at APS. Maybe I'll see him there.

  5. Oh, I mean the Northwest APS. I'd like to have the bucks to make Denver, but right now it doesn't look too likely.
