I'm now up to roughly 21 complete postdoc job applications for the year end! Employers looking for a hard working, mature, friendly, intelligent, categorical M theorist will have to get in quick!

P.S. Friendliness may, to some extent, be inversely proportional to the degree of superiority that you feel you have.
Maybe you could try a bit closer to home:

For the assistant/associate professorship positions, they apparently 'welcome strong applications in all areas'.
C. Fulton is giving a talk at FFP10 I'm looking forward to. It's about the mysteries of QSOs. See his coauthor Arp's paper 0712.3180, Dark Energy and the Hubble Constant, which argues that the mass of objects changes with time (and is only a little away from Louise Riofrio and my ideas).
You'll be entertained by the epilogue in this paper by Arp.
Phil H, James Borger is a great guy and I would quite like to live in Canberra, but these jobs are strictly mathematical.
I'm getting more and more enthusiastic about these papers on the QSO periodicity in redshift. I think we have something here.
Yes, all right Carl. I'll see you in Perth soon!
I agree that the postdoc positions are indeed 'strictly mathematical', but the assistent/associate professorship positions explicitly state: 'For applicants in Applied Mathematics, Mathematical Physics, and Statistics, joint appointments with other departments will be considered.'
Have you tried Perimeter Institute ? http://www.perimeterinstitute.ca/Scientific/Applications/Postdoctoral_Researcher/
Cheerse
But isn't the Perimeter Institute the Mecca for loop quantum gravity?
Ha, did you know that the quasar redshift quantization happens to give redshift factors of z = 2/9? Wonder where that comes from.
Coooool!!! There are some Junior Fellowships going at three old Oxford colleges. OK, so that's one more application.
Phil H, I'm not sure where you're from, but in Australia a Professorship of any kind is a senior academic position. I waste enough time applying for postdocs. Besides, I WANT a postdoc. I WANT the chance to do full time research for longer than one year in PEACE AND QUIET and with some FINANCIAL SECURITY.
I'm getting rather excited to go to Perth. I've got titles for the slideshow completed. It appears that I'll have time to outline a new theory of gravity that is elegant as hell. It's a modification of the exact copy of general relativity that the Cambridge geometry group came up with.
" But isn't the Perimeter Institute the Mecca for loop quantum gravity? " Well , the driving force of the Mecca ( Lee Smolin ) seems to be a very open minded scientist and he actually encourages different approaches to LQG.
